This following has been summarized from this DailyMail article:
About ten members of an anti-Islamization group in Australia “Party for Freedom” walked into a church in Australia on a recent Sunday morning dressed as Muslims and disrupted the service in the middle of the sermon by playing Islamic music while pretending to pray on their knees in front of the surprised parishioners.
Father Rod Bower reassured the parishioners and the group soon left the church with one of them saying, “Do not promote Islam.”
The Godsford Angelican Church at the NSW Central Coast is known for being opposed to Australia’s policy of processing refugees offshore at detention centers on Nauru and Manus Islands rather than immediately allowing them into the country.
Bower said the group “terrorized” the congregation and also “violated our sacred space.” Some of the Parishioners appeared to be amused but Bower said others were “deeply traumatized.” Bower later posted on his Facebook page that it was an example of “right-wing terrorism.”
The Party for Freedom leader Nick Folkes told the Daily Mail Australia that he believes in freedom of speech, and said that he believes Islam is anti-democratic and anti-freedom and has no place in Australia.
